Ok so I just completed a closet tour on my YT page. Now I have to admit I edited out a lot of stuff, due to the fact of the 15 min limit on videos. Maybe one day I will do another video - kind of a part two...? But for now this will quench some curiosity and hopefully inspire people to be creative and resourceful.
Silver Tray is from the dollar store, actually a serving tray but I use it as a catch all. Jewelry that I have worn during the week lands here and gets put away on the weekend. Also new things find a home here, to remind me to wear them.
Steel Rack from Target becomes a Jewelry / Accessories Holder.
I keep most of my necklaces in fishing tackle boxes I found at Wal-Mart for about $5 each. Keeps them separated and from getting tangled.
I do have a Jewelery Armour that I got for Christmas like three years ago and it is full of goodies...
The wood drawers I pulled out of a dresser for my earrings and bangles....
Clothing racks where bought at Wal-Mart for $10. Be careful not to pile to much clothing on one rack or they will fall over. Shoe holders where from Target for $25.
Note: not all my shoes fit in these, because some heels are too high. Those are stored in their original box. They also get a post it note with a quick pic and description of what the shoe is.
Wire Cube Rack found at Target, added to the top shelf to make sections for easy organization.
Reclaimed drawer from a horrible chest of drawers. This is perfect for under the bed, or in a nook to store stuff. In my case I use it as a flip flop holder.
A Reclaimed Easter Basket becomes the perfect hair organizer.
A fruit or dessert bowl becomes a lip gloss, lip stick and balm holder.
Check out the new video for the walk through:
