Old Dress - New Look

{Cold}

Ok I wanted to post this video last weekend and keep my once a week routine going strong. But I had the worst cold, no i would call it the flu. It was awful I am still fighting it a bit too. Matter of fact you may notice the difference in my voice during filming of this project.

So I had this dress that I have had in my closet for about 10 years. I have only worn it a couple of times. It looks very dated, almost like I am an extra for a 40-50's era movie. I like the look but found it hard to pull off in real life...I was looking at it thinking I need to do something with this or just get rid of it and give it to someone who would actually wear it.It was actually quite long and the pattern seemed to swallow me up. I thought about shortening it, then it hit me how about a bubble hem with some volume? That will make it more modern!

Here of late YT has been obsessed with Hauls, I figure I will save some $$$ by being a bit creative.

Thrift Haul & Smelly Cat

So I ran into a local store to buy a last minute gift for someone.

As I walk n this guy is talking to another worker there, he stops mid sentence says "hello and can I help you with anything?" I was like "no I am just going to grab a gift card ~ thanks" Then he exclaims "You look like Lisa Kudrow!" he turns to his co-worker and asks him for confirmation "Doesn't she look like Lisa Kudrow!?" they all nod their head in agreement. I said "that's not the first time someone has said that to me"

It was kind of embarrassing because other people working there all looked too...I walked away going how can I play that off?

I finally decided that I will learn the lyrics to "Smelly Cat" and bust out singing them the next time someone says this to me =]

Posting a new video, made a recent trip to Salvation Army was able to find some great buys! $2 each for a weeks worth of belts, watch below to see how I incorporate them into my already existing wardrobe.
